Swatragh set to be a serious proposition

Enda McGinley and Stephen Quinn.

Championship programme:

Derry SFC Group D

Swatragh v Dungiven, August 1

Claudy v Swatragh, August 8

Swatragh v Ballinascreen, TBC

Team news:

Swatragh’s Tyrone management team remain in place. Last season, Swatragh showed fantastic potential in the league, and were among the leaders early on. They beat Glenullin in the opening round of the championship but then lost to Banagher in the next. This Swatragh team is a year older and a year wiser. With stars like Oisin and Lorcan McWilliams in the squad, the Davitt’s are a serious proposition this year. They are also in a group which they could do damage. The only injury concern they have at the moment is Peadar Coyle. Everyone else is fit and there is no change to the squad from last year.
