Championship programme:

Armagh SFC round one
St Peter’s v Armagh Harps, August 9

Team news:

St Peter’s have no retirements from last year and have Robbie Geary back. Geary won an Armagh Club Allstar when they claimed the Intermediate title in 2018, and his return is a massive boost. Niall McConville will captain the Whites this year while they will look to players like Ruairi McDonald to move to the next level in the coming weeks. Interestingly, they played Armagh midfielder Aaron Findon at full-back against the Grange last week in the first half but he was moved out to midfield for the second half. In McConville, McDonald and Michael Gogarty they have a potent full-forward line, and they will carry a lot of their hopes in the championship opener against Armagh Harps.
