There is controversy in Tyrone this week as the county board have fixed club championship games on the same day as the Ladies footballers contest the All-Ireland final.
The Red Hands ladies are due to play Tipperary this Sunday, but there are also going to be games such as Errigal and Carrickmore as well as Owen Roes and Fintona, Brocagh and Clogher in the club championship on the same day.
This was met with frustration by Tyrone fans as there are ladies footballers from those clubs who will be at Croke Park.
It means that fans must make a choice, do they want to watch their club or their county.
Many annoyed fans voiced their frustration on Twitter.

It’s ridiculous for the sake of 1 day they can’t do something!! Typical of how women’s sport is considered! Very disappointing of Tyrone!

Monday night games would be no better for men travelling from the south, impossible to keep everybody happy

Very unfair that the Tyrone ladies don’t warrant the recognition they deserve

Disgrace. Families forced to choose whether to support daughter or son, brother or sister. GAA family?? God made 7 days in the week!
