OUT…Ryan Johnston will miss the clash with Slaughtneil, and any other rounds should they progress

KILCOO have been dealt a huge blow ahead of Sunday’s heavyweight Ulster Club clash against Slaughtneil as Ryan Johnston has been ruled out with a broken foot.

The Magpie attacker had been dealing with a knock throughout the Down Club Championship, but this is a separate injury that will rule him out for the rest of the season regardless of how far Paul McIver’s side goes.

The Down champions will also be without Aaron Branagan, Gerard McEvoy and Paddy Devlin at Pairc Esler as they to have been ruled out with injury.
