Reilly to captain Killygarry as they seek 2018 repeat

KILLYGARRY

Manager:

Danny Brady (manager), Andy McGovern (coach), Mel Doherty (selector) and Adam Sullivan (S&C coach).

Championship programme:

League stage round one:

Killygarry v Cavan Gaels, August 1

Team news:

The first round draw pitted Killygarry against Cavan Gaels and that would have reminded fans of their brilliant win over the Gaels in their opening game of the 2018 championship. Dara Brady’s flicked goal won a thriller but it was their performance in the first 30 minutes that showed what they can do at their best as goals from Ryan Brady and the brilliant Conor Smith had them 2-9 to 0-6 ahead at the break. Since then they have defeated Ramor United and Gowna and took eventual champions Castlerahan to a replay in last year’s quarter-final. Martin Reilly is captain this year and Danny Brady expects to have a full panel for their clash with the Gaels. Started their Division One campaign with a high-scoring loss to Kingscourt. Conor Smith was again in brilliant attacking form and scored their first goal and he will need real watching.
