All-Ireland Junior Football Championship Quarter-Final
Red Hughs 3-11
Dunedin Connolly’s 1-15
Red Hughs have booked their place in the last four of the All-Ireland Junior Championship with a win over an extra time win over British champions, Dunedin Connolly’s.
O’Donnell Park in Letterkenny played host to the historic contest and a game which ended level 1-10 apiece meaning extra time would be required.
It was the firepower from the Donegal and Ulster champions that proved to be too much as James Carlin and Stephen McMenamin before Shane Gallagher hit the match winning goal to grasp victory right at the death.
