Down SFC round one

Bryansford v Glenn

Team news:

We are always told that Bryansford have the talent to win in Down but it’s been a decade since their last final appearance and 17 years since their last success. Steven Poacher’s appointment is notable, the ‘Ford feel that he is the man to bring the bit of grit needed to get them to Kilcoo and Burren’s level. Timmy Hanna is back flying fit ahead of their championship clash with Glenn while the McDonald brothers, Aaron and Ryan, are also back from long-term knee injuries. Former Down defender Ruairi Wells is missing as he is working in Canada but Bryansford believe they have one of their most competitive panels in years with over 50 players training. Eoghan McMullan picked up an injury in the league draw with Warrenpoint. Conor Maginn is the captain this season.
