MALACHY O’Rourke has named a familiar looking line-up for Monaghan’s Ulster Championship quarter-final against Down on Sunday.
Monaghan’s starting team features no debutants as they begin their championship defence, but there are a number of changes from their last competitive outing, a one-point win against Donegal in April that salvaged their Division One status.
Vinny Corey drops back to centre half-back from midfield, swapping with Neil McAdam, while Kieran Hughes has been selected in the middle having played at number 11 against Donegal.
Karl O’Connell, Oisin Duffy and Shane Carey have also been drafted into the team while versatile Scotsman man Darren Hughes has been switched from midfield to full-forward.
