Gaelic Life can reveal that the three nominations for the position of Antrim chairman have been named.
St.Enda’s businessman Ciaran McCavana, St.Paul’s club man Joe Edwards and outgoing north Antrim chairman Owen Elliot make up the nominations which clubs had until yesterday to make.
The men will replace the outgoing team of Collie Donnelly, vice chair Terry Reilly and Treasurer Paul McCann.
Antrim county board have regarded the tenure of these men as a success overseeing the Saffron Business Forum which raised over £300k over the course of the last three years with the inclusion of improved car parking and bringing Casement Park Social Club back on board.
Last year they were responsible for raising £30,000 while being on hand to gain funding for the Gael Fast plan where they view Antrim as a £1 million business and have the structures in place where it is being run like a business.
