Naomh Éanna v St Gall’s, August 26

Team news:

Frank Fitzsimons was there when Naomh Éanna won the Antrim and Ulster Intermediate titles in 2018 and he was there when they won promotion up to the top tier in Antrim. They maintained their status again last year. What is intriguing about their place in this group is that they are up against a Gort na Mona team that they beat in the 2018 Intermediate Championship. Naomh Éanna have a similar team to last year. They have a team capable of competing in this championship and are worth watching. New additions this year are Stevie O’Connor who is back from Qatar. Ethan Gibson was studying in Manchester but has returned. Cormac Scott is having an operation on his wrist and is going to be out for a period. Ciaran O’Neill is also injured. Michael McNamee won’t be available till August. Ruairi Scott, one of Naomh Éanna’s county players, has returned to action after three months off with injury. Kristian Healy is also back after a long injury lay-off.
