Munroe and Devlin pick up awards

TYRONE defender Cormac Munroe and Paul Devlin have been named as the EirGrid GAA U-20 Player and Manager of the Province.

Munroe was a key player in Tyrone’s defensive set up throughout the provincial competition, assisting his squad to win 1-11 to 0-09 in their final against Donegal. For the second year in a row, Tyrone’s Paul Devlin has been named as the EirGrid GAA U-20 Manager of the Province, after leading his team to back-to-back provincial championship victories.

The Munster awards went to Kerry’s Ruaidhri Ó Beagloaich and his manager John Sugrue, while Galway star Cathal Sweeney and Tribe boss Donal Ó Fátharta were honoured in Connacht. Dublin’s Leinster title saw Lorcan O’Dell pick up the Leinster Player award while Tom Gray was named Leinster Manager of the Year.
