Monaghan have made one change to the starting team that edge past Armagh as they prepare for a semi-final showdown with Dublin.
Ryan O’Toole has been named at right corner back, with Darren Hughes dropping to the bench. Although a late change before the throw in is likely.
Hughes is critical to Monaghan’s defensive gameplan, so he’s sure to be in from the start and take up his usual sweeper position.
Karl O’Connell and Conor McCarthy have been two of the in-from players in the country this season, and they take up their usual positions in the half back line.
Conor McManus, Monaghan’s hero the last day, will start on the bench but will play a key role if the Farney men are to pull off a shock.
Monaghan Team: Rory Beggan, Ryan O’Toole, Kieran Duffy, Ryan Wylie, Karl O’Connell, Conor Boyle, Conor McCarthy, Karl Gallagher, Killian Lavelle, Stephen O’Hanlon, Michael Bannigan, Ryan McAnespie, Jack McCarron, Gary Mohan, Dessie Ward.
Subs: Darren McDonnell, Kieran Hughes, Conor McManus, Sean Jones, Darren Hughes, Shane Carey, Kevin Loughran, Fintan Kelly, Conor Leonard, Francie Hughes, Colm Lennon.
