Ulster Minor Football Championship Final 2019
Monaghan 1-13 Tyrone 1-11
From Odhrán Crumley in Armagh
Monaghan have retained the Ulster Minor crown after eventually overcoming Tyrone in Armagh.
Darragh Dempsey led the Farney Army charge with five fine efforts including a late 45’ to seal the title.
The men in blue led by the minimum at the break on a scoreline of 0-9 to 0-8.
It was Tyrone that would start fastest in the second half, Michael McGleenan racing clear from the throw-in before shooting into the net.
Seventeen wides looked like it would hamper the Monaghan chances before Michael Hamill hammered home a late goal before Dempsey sealed a title retention from a placed ball.
