“Monaghan are better than last year” – Bradley

Mark Bradley

Tyrone forward Mark Bradley believes that Malachy O’Rourke’s Monaghan team are going to be a tougher proposition in this year’s championship.

Monaghan play Tyrone on May 20, and as that game approaches thoughts turn to whether or not the Red Hands can successfully defend their Ulster title.

Bradley has been impressed by Monaghan this year, particularly because of their win over Dublin during the National League.

“Monaghan have been flying during the league and they really look as though they have stepped it up from last year. They look like the toughest opponent in Ulster at the minute so we have our work cut out and we are going to have to do a lot of work in the next month or so.

“It’s the first time that Monaghan have beaten Dublin in a long time, the first time that anyone has beaten Dublin in a long time so we have it all to do.”
