McConville’s Ogs hoping for further improvement

Championship programme:

Armagh SFC round one
Pearse Og v Cullyhanna, August 9

Team news:

A mixed start to the league season for the Ogs. They were comprehensively defeated by Killeavy in round one but responded with an impressive win over Maghery in their second outing. Shane McConville is back for a second term and they have really got their mojo back since he came on board. In Ryan Kearney they have a very good goalkeeper who inspires confidence and out the field they have a nice mix of youth and experience. The likes of Gerald Barton, Conor Clarke and team captain Paul Duffy remain, and there are some promising lads who are not long out of minor. Defeated Cullyhanna in the championship last year and if they can reproduce their Maghery performance, they will have every chance of repeating the trick.
