Kearney praises McGrath’s bravery for Slaughtneil

Slaughtneil’s Meehaul McGrath

Ahead of their Ulster Club Championship semi-final against Kilcar  on Saturday night (6.30pm Healy park),  Slaughtneil Assistant manager John Joe Kearney sought to praised the do-or-die attitude of the Emmett’s team.

He used the performance of Meehaul McGrath in their quarter-final against Omagh as evidence.

“Meehaul McGrath claimed a ball amongst a lock of players that manys a player would have opted out of. It was actions like that, in tight games, that can be the difference in winning and losing.”

Kearney also gave an update on the fitness of Paul Bradley, and revealed whether or not he will be fit for the Ulster final if they qualify.
