GAELIC Life hurling columnist John Martin has said that until Antrim develops a hurling identity, they will remain in limbo.
Writing in today’s edition, Martin pointed out the one big fundamental change that must be made if progress is to occur following the launch of a root and branch review of the sport in the county last week.
“Thought needs to be given as to how to instill and nurture a hurling culture within schools and communities where it currently doesn’t exist or where there is, at best, indifference.
“This work needs to be done with parents, teachers and, importantly, boards of governors of primary and post-primary schools.”
