Harte free to undergo Dr Hyde assessment

Tyrone will be able to call upon the services of Peter Harte for Saturday’s trip to Roscommon after launching a successful appeal.

Harte picked up a third black card of the season in the qualifier clash win against Cavan, ruling him out of the first phase of the ‘Super 8s’.

After a successful appeal the Errigal Ciaran man’s dismal against Longford three weeks ago has been rescinded.

The other black cards came against Donegal in the Ulster semi-final, this means that a key cog of the Red Hand machine will line out in Dr Hyde Park on Saturday evening.

The Red Hands make the trip west on Saturday evening to take on the Connacht champions with a 5pm throw in.

Sky Sports will broadcast the game live.
