Glenn attempting to build on Intermediate success

GLENN

Management:

Tony Bagnall (manager), Brendan Grant, Stephen O’Hare and Marty McEvoy (coaches).

Championship programme:

Down SFC round one

Glenn v Bryansford

Team news:

Glenn have looked sharp early doors as they attempt to build on their 2019 Intermediate title. Former Burnley and Bradford player Shay McCartan has been playing with the side and scored a cracking goal in their league win over Saul, and manager Tony Bagnall will be hoping that he isn’t snapped up by another professional club as their championship game with Bryansford approaches. Stevie Clarke and Decky Murtagh decided to sign off following last year’s triumphant campaign while Cormac Clarke won’t be able to play this season due to work commitments. Top players like Shay Millar, Ronan Millar and Denis Murtagh remain in Australia, so Tiernan O’Brien, Mattie Bagnall, Niall McParland and young Jack McCartan will be expected to drive the side on.
