Down’s Conor Laverty will not feature in the NFL
This week it was reported that Down players Conor Laverty and Benny McArdle will not be available to play in the National League.
Where does that leave your fantasy team?
First of all, the Conor Laverty situation was no surprise to Gaelic Life. We were aware that he wasn’t going to take any part and so he didn’t appear in our selection panels.
Benny McArdle removes a defensive option.
So who are the alternatives. For a replacement for Conor Laverty, look to Ryan Johnston who is named in half forward, but who should score as much as some full forwards.
For Benny McArdle, think Darragh O Hanlon. He doesn’t just sit back in defence, he likes to kick the odd point as well. Take advantage of that.
