One of the most popular targets for Fantasy pickers was Jamie Clarke. A safe option for the Fantasy manager who wanted to get a name on their team sheet.
But when you’re counting up your fantasy scores as Autumn approaches, young Clarke will probably be counting out the price of a Skinny Latte in some bohemian Coffee shop in Greenwich village.
So you have to think again.
Armagh should have a tidy defence yet again this season, so it’s worth adding a few backs from the Orchard county.
Ciaran McKeever (half back): A solid pick in the defence because we know that he is going to play regularly, and that means steady clean sheet points.
Brendan Donaghy (full back): Another worth picking because he should get regularly starts in a miserly defence.
Stefan Campbell (Half forward): Likely to be a regular starter, as he had impressed in the McKenna cup. He is in the half forward line but could score as much as one of the full forwards.
Aidan Forker (Half forward): Should do a good deal of damage for the Armagh attack, and as he is a half forward, that means he won’t take a spot from one of the heavier scorers from another county.
