Gallagher steps down as Fermanagh manager

RORY Gallagher has stepped down as Fermanagh manager after two years in charge.

Gallagher enjoyed a very successful first year as the side earned promotion from Division Three and reached the Ulster final where they lost to Donegal.

They comfortably maintained their Division Two status this year and remained in the hunt for promotion until the final day, but they failed to scale any heights in the championship.

An Ulster loss to Donegal was followed by a four-point Qualifier defeat to Monaghan.
