Teams played for:

Emmett Og, Monaghan, Ulster, DCU

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around?

David Beckham, Barack Obama, Amy Huberman and all the DCU House 15 crew

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?

I’d have to say The Roost Bar Clones after our epic celebrations after this year’s Ulster Final.

If you weren’t playing GAA what would you be at?

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh probably farming.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?

Donaghmoyne!

Any odd items in your kit bag?

Holy water

What’s your preferred brand of gear?

Boots – Puma King, Gloves – Murphys

Who’s the biggest joker in the teams you play for?

Therese Mc Nally, she’s the oldest on the team by a mile and she thinks she’s hilarious, although most of the time we’re laughing at her, not with her.

Which team mate has the best looking other half?

A lot of them think they have, but Lauren Jones’s Debs date Gavin wins that one

Who is the worst trainer?

Ciara Mc Anespie – she only trains the week of championship. Always on the physio bed. Niamh Callen and Muireann Atkinson wouldn’t be the best either, pity they wouldn’t take a leaf outta Barry Kerr and Niall Rooney’s book! #ballers

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?

Laura Mc Enaney. Never comes to training or a match without a hairdryer, make up bag and Urban Decay palette. Josie Fitzpatrick would come a close second!

Who’s the best/worst person to share a room with on away trips?

Best – Our Goalie Cathriona Mc Kenna – always has a good story about the dances she goes too. She’s always looking a jive and a curt. Any
takers?
Worst – Aoife Mc Anespie – would spend the night on the phone to Gary or her sister Eimear – never ask her to make you a cup of tea?

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?

Worst – Grainne McNally, never stops talking about her boyfriend Christopher. Wish he would just hurry up and buy her the ring!

Best –  Have to say Ciara Mc Anespie, been sitting beside her since u14s. Although she’s glued to her phone these days to some stats man so
she’s not much craic to sit beside.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?

Best – Sharon Courtney – she’s a lecturer in Nutrition so she sort of has to be. Although after our Ulster Celebrations I did see her scoff  a pizza, burger and chip before she went to the nightclub.

Worst – Rachel Mc Kenna – big fan of Pizza D’or and the Monty Carlo!!

Toughest opponent you have faced?

Briege Corkery, Cork and Fiona McHale, Mayo

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?

Best – Angie Mc Nally ( DCU days )
“Do the simple things brilliantly”

Best manager you’ve ever played under?

Manager – Mary Croarkin in my school football days in Largy College.  Wouldn’t be the player I am today without her influence.

Trainer – Current Monaghan Ladies Trainer Aidy Little. He’s easy on the eye so that helps too?? Danica ??

Best ever performance?

Ulster Final 2012

One to forget?

Ulster Final 2015

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?

Jenny Greenan – Monaghan Ladies legend back in the 90s

If there was a transfer market who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?

Out – Cora Courtney because she never passes to me.
In – Roisin O Keeffe, Cavan – she’d pass to me.
