Teams played for:

Queen’s University Belfast, Clonduff, Down, St Vincent’s Toronto

If you were throwing a party and you could invite anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would you ask around?

Thierry Henry would be first on the list, the man’s a legend. Martin Hearty (because he was beside me when I was writing this), Patrick Kielty for a bit of craic and all the lads from the Philips treatment Whatsapp group.

Where do you like to go out to celebrate after a big victory?

Probably stay about Hilltown, so Macs or if in Belfast Marty Bines’ Booker room.

If you weren’t playing GAA what would you be at?

Probably a professional golfer. Gary Hoc can confirm how good I am.

What’s the worst pitch you’ve ever played on?

Annaclone. Easy.

Which character in any film are you most like?

I’d like to think Zac Efron from Baywatch, but I don’t think too many would agree with that.

Any odd items in your kit bag?

Pretty normal kitbag, nothing I can think of.

What’s your preferred brand of gear?

Peninsula sports gloves

Who’s the biggest joker in the teams you play for?

Brendy Britton for Clonduff
Gearard McGovern, Down

Which team mate has the best looking other half?

Barry O’Hagan, he has a new one every week.

Who is the worst trainer?

Aidan Carr, probably. He keeps blaming it on getting old but I think he just doesn’t like the cold or rain.

Who spends most time in front of the mirror in the dressing room?

Mal Magee

Who’s the best/worst person to share a room with on away trips?

Peter Turley best. He’s quiet and usually in bed early.
Barry O’Hagan worst: Snores and wants to sit up all night talking crap.

Who’s the best/worst person to sit beside on the team bus?

Paul Lively always has a few good jokes and stories to tell.
Shane McGreevy worst because he smells like ham.

Who has the best and who has the worst diet on the team, and what does it include?

Shane McGreevy would have the worst. All he eats is ham sandwiches and chicken wings.
Best would be the retired Paul McPolin; eats chicken fillets, spuds and carrots every night!

Toughest opponent you have faced?

Aidan O’Shea, the hardest hit I’ve ever taken playing football.

Best or worst quote you’ve heard, either from a manager, player, opponent?

Gearard McGovern has had that many of them in his team-talks for Queen’s I couldn’t pick just one!

Best manager you’ve ever played under?

Colm Lynch u14 manager for Clonduff

Best ever performance?

Probably against Bryansford in the championship last year.

One to forget?

The game after the championship game against Warrenpoint. Think I dropped every ball.

When you were playing in the back garden, who did you pretend to be?

Connor Gough, always looked up to him.

If there was a transfer market who’d be in and who’d be out of the team?

Ryan Keman Murray; in for his sweet left foot.
Big Packie Downey would be out; always injured.
