John McElroy: My Fermanagh life

FERMANAGH legend John McElroy has spoken in depth about his time playing with and managing the Erne county – as well as his success in the club game.

In an in-depth interview in today’s Gaelic Life, the Tempo man discusses his battles with the county board, how his playing career was cut short and how close he came to resigning before the start of the 1982 Ulster Championship.
