FORMER Roscommon and Carlow coach Steven Poacher has been added to the Fermanagh hurling management team for the 2023 season.
Erne boss Joe Baldwin had intended to add a strong presence to his coaching team for the season ahead and has landed on the Newry native.
Poacher had been linked to the Fermanagh football job following Ryan McMenamin’s decision to step away at the end of the 2021 season with Kieran Donnelly eventually taking charge.
He will remain in charge of Down club Mayobridge who lost out to Kilcoo in the Down quarter-final last season.
Fermanagh were crowned Division 3B champions in 2022 and also retained their Nickey Rackard status.
