Enniskillen native Dunbar has agreed to become a club ambassador and he will be present on the night as the club reveal their exciting development plans for both Enniskillen Gaels and Brewster Park.

Brewster Park opened its gates for the first time in 1982 and coincidentally the 40^th anniversary of the opening is this coming week, May 9.

The club’s aim now is to upgrade and improve the facilities to cater for the needs of a modern club who sit at the heart of their community with a thriving youth section and teams competing in male and female football as well as hurling.

Actor and director Dunbar is excited to be linking up with his hometown club.

“I’m looking forward to being back in Enniskillen and meeting up with the Gaels. There is a great energy about the club, as there should be from the county town,” said Dunbar.

Enniskillen Gaels are delighted to welcome Dunbar on board as an ambassador as they embark on these exciting development plans.

“On behalf of the development committee of Enniskillen Gaels we are very appreciative that Adrian Dunbar has agreed to be our club ambassador.

“These are exciting times for our club with our new development plans and we feel that Adrian, as a true Enniskillen Gael at heart, his sense of community in local issues and the pride he has in his hometown will represent everything we are aiming to achieve with our club development plans.

“We look forward to Adrian’s involvement so that positive changes to our club and a stronger community are realised,” said Development Secretary, Mark Morris.

The club would urge anybody with an interest in Enniskillen Gaels to come along to the launch of the new development plans at the Westville Hotel on Friday May 13 at 7.30pm.
