Winning return for Dom

By Katrina Brennan

With Kinawley safely through to the semis, Sean Leonard, the Kinawley assistant manager was delighted with his team’s display;

“We’re really happy. That was our goal to get through to the semi final, we get another week now to recover from this, then prepare for the semi final.

“We all rowed behind the cause today and we were in the ascendancy for most of the match. Even every time Enniskillen came back at us we just kept going right to the end and it was just brilliant to be able to close the game out.”

With Dom Corrigan back in the fray after a recent illness, he watched from a seated position in the dugout throughout rather than patrolling the sideline, but his presence was most welcome, admitted Leonard;

“Brilliant [to have him back]. He was a calming influence on us on the line and his wisdom on the line just helped us through the match. It’s brilliant to have Dom back and we hope to have him there as long as we go in the competition.”
