THREE experienced Fermanagh footballers have withdrawn from the senior intercounty panel ahead of the 2024 season.
Roslea star Sean Quigley and Derrygonnelly brothers Ryan and Conall Jones have informed manager Kieran Donnelly that they will be unavailable for selection.
In a statement thanking them for their services, Fermanagh GAA explained that the trio have “unavoidable work and travel commitments” and expressed hope that they would “see them back in the green jersey at some point in the years ahead.”
Sean Quigley has been a reliable score-getter for years with an eye for goal, though at times he had to content himself with a substitute berth this season.
Midfielder Ryan Jones likewise has been a hugely important player for the Ernemen, while brother Conall is an experienced forward so their absence also comes as a blow to Fermanagh ahead of the 2024 season.
