TYRONE native Chris Kelly has been appointed as manager of Ederney, following Mickey Cassidy’s decision to step down in the wake of their relegational final win over Teemore.
Kelly worked alongside Cassidy in a coaching capacity when the St Joseph’s club won the Fermanagh Senior Championship in 2020. In all, he spent four years with the club as trainer.
From Eskra in Tyrone, Kelly spent the 2022 season managing a nearby Tyrone club, Tattyreagh, before deciding to step down. Now he’s embarking on a new challenge as Ederney attempt to make their way back to the top of Fermanagh club football.
