Fermanagh stun Donegal with storming second stanza in Letterkenny

Fermanagh led by former Donegal manager, Rory Gallagher have stunned the Tir Chonaill men in O’Donnell Park.

An awful run of results in the Letterkenny venue gets worse for the reigning Ulster Champions who have no only won two of the last sixteen games in O’Donnell Park.

Declan Bonner’s side led 0-8 to 0-4 at the break despite going down to fourteen men after just twenty minutes a Caolan McGonigle saw red.

Michael Langan extended the lead early in the second half before Ciaran Corrigan knocked over four points to bring the Ernesiders back into the game.

In the 58th minute of the contest the home team were reduced to thirteen as Stephen McMenamin was shown a black card.

Sean Quigley put the minimum between the teams before substitute Paul McCusker levelled as Corrigan and Aidan Breen knocked over what proved to be the winning scores.
