When Sean Cavanagh unselfishly passed back across the goals to where an opened armed Peter Harte was waiting to receive the assist for his goal, Fantasy Managers in Tyrone and beyond must have yelped in delight.
Harte hitting the back of the net earned those fantasy managers a cool ten points alone, and add that to the clean sheet he recorded, the win over Derry, and his starting berth on the Tyrone team, and you have a massive 23 point game for just one player. That was enough to not only put Harte at the top of week two’s player totals table, but also for the overall fantasy players table.
Next up for Tyrone is a meeting with the winners of either Cavan or Armagh, but the way the Red Hands played, they look like they could get all the way to an All-Ireland final. Harte will be one of the main scorers if that happens.
