Team news:

Chairperson Kieran McKeever said this week: “In the season that it is, preparations like all other clubs have been hindered by Covid-19. With preseason cut short and GAA activity only resuming a few weeks before championship, the usual season normalities have not taken place. We are happy with the revised championship format in Derry this year, with the round-robin group stages guaranteeing all players a minimum of four championship games. We have a young squad many of which were involved in the u-21 county championship winning team and subsequent Ulster U-21 Club Championship, which was also cut short at the semi-final stages due to the Covid pandemic. With over 50 players training since the lockdown being eased, we have three senior teams competing is this year’s Derry Championships (senior/reserve/thirds).”
