It really was a fight to the death but after a replay and extra time, Dungannon have fought off a stern Aghyaran challenge to reach senior football for 2019. 

Ronan McNamee was influential as ever for the North Tyrone men and they led 0-7 to 0-4 at the break with Benny Gallen and Sean Byrne on target.

Patrick Molloy got that all important goal before the men in green and yellow showed nerves of steel to level proceedings and send the game to extra time with the last kick.

Patrick Quinn, Conor McKee and Padraig McNulty landed scores for Dungannon in extra time as the Clarke’s landed a superb sprint finish to finish the marathon strongest and earn the right to play senior football for the 2019 season.
