TWO-TIME All-Ireland winning manager Pete McGrath is back on the sideline for the upcoming season.
The former Down boss will manage the Burren reserves, and it is believed he may also be in charge of the thirds and under 19 sides as well.
McGrath has an extensive CV, including leading his native county to All-Ireland titles in 1991 and 1994.
In more recent years, the Rostrevor man guided Fermanagh to the All-Ireland quarter final in 2015, losing out to eventual All-Ireland champions Dublin.
He also experienced a brief stint with Louth back in 2018, overseeing the Wee County for ten months.
McGrath had managed his native club for the previous three seasons and Mourne legend Benny Coulter has since stepped into the hotseat.
Burren, the only side to break the Kilcoo stranglehold on the Down championship in the last decade, are currently led by former Armagh and magpie boss Jim McCorry.
