THERE will be a huge Ulster influence on the Parnells club in Chicago as they challenge for glory this summer.
Down’s Barry O’Hagan is the latest player to sign for the summer, coming days after Tyrone All-Ireland winning duo Michael McKernan and Conor Meyler made the switch.
They will be joined by Kilcoo trio Ryan Johnston, Dylan Ward and Ceilum Doherty, with ]Clonduff’s Ross Carr also making the switch.
The Magpies’ had previously enjoyed a team holiday in New York after winning the All-Ireland Club, with the three players staying on for the summer.
Kilcoo begin their Down Championship against Clonduff later in the season, the only team to have beaten them in the League to date.
Parnells look to be the team to beat in Chicago, with Waterford’s Stephen Curry also joining after their Tailteann Cup exit to Wicklow.
Former Monaghan defender Dessie Mone and Antrim’s Hogan Cup winner Adam Loughran have transferred to their rivals Pearses for the summer.
