Son of Derry All Ireland Winner Signs Two Year AFL Deal

Anton Tohill the teenage son of Derry All Ireland Winner, Anthony Tohill has signed a two-year professional contract with AFL side Collingwood. 

The Swatragh clubman has attended numerous trials and was one of four Irish players that attended the AFL Draft Combine in Melbourne in recent times.

Towering at 6’6″, Tohill follows in the footsteps of fellow countyman, Conor Glass (currently at Hawthron) by joining Collingwood who made it all the way to the 2018 AFL Grand Final.

The 18-year-old will travel to Melbourne in November to being training with the 2019 Australian Football League due to commence in March.
