Colm McGoldrick hit the net twice as Coleraine overcame Castlerahan to set up a semi-final meeting with Monaghan winner’s Scotstown.

Eoghan Rua made appeared to be in driving seat as they led by six at the break, full forward Colm McGoldrick finishing two fine counter attacking moves into the net as the Cavan champions were reduced to 14 with David Wright seeing red.

Castlerahan would hit five unanswered scores as Cormac Daly saw black before Ciaran McGoldrick split the posts to give the Derry men their first score of the half.

Sean McGoldrick’s side would then hit five unanswered points of their own to win by six and march onto a last four meeting with Scotstown.
