Former Derry star Enda Lynn signs for London’s Round Towers

By Michael McMullan

GREENLOUGH will continue to plan without Enda Lynn after the former Derry star’s transfer to London club Round Towers.

Lynn, who last played for Derry in their 2020 Ulster SFC defeat to Armagh, didn’t feature in Greenlough’s defeat to Glenullin or Sunday’s win over Lissan in the Derry Intermediate Championship group stages.

He will join another ‘Lough man, Ryan Tohill, who also joined the Round Towers this season.

In their absence Stephen Bradley (1-8) and Patrick Feeney (1-3) have led the line for Darren Craig’s men.

Niall Loughlin missed their win over Lissan as he recovers from injury sustained on county duty with Derry.

Greenlough, previous winners in 2015 and 2020,  will complete their Group A campaign with games against 2021 league champions Drumsurn and Slaughtmanus.

They were narrowly beaten in last year’s final by a Steelstown team that went all the way to the All-Ireland title.
