Bradley has unfinished business with Derry

Emmett Bradley is hoping that Derry achieve promotion back to Division Two

WHEN Emmett Bradley decided not to play county football last year, he knew it was a case of putting his career on hold, rather than ending it completely.

At the age of 23, he knew he had plenty to give to Derry, but he had wanted to give some time back to his club.

Towards the end of last year, Bradley received a call from the new manager Damian McErlaine and he was invited to join the panel. He’s eager to get back to the intercounty game.

“I always knew that I was going to go back to Derry. I would have been missing somthing if I had stopped playing for Derry.

“Growing up, that was all I ever wanted to do. At the age of 24, I am not going to pull the pin. There is a bit of unfinished business.”

Bradley goes on to talk about his first impressions of McErlaine, how he thinks Derry can improve, and what he thinks of the modern game.
