Claudy gained promotion back up to the top flight last year, and are building upon their fantastic potential that has been there for a number of years. The club are very successful off the field in terms of fundraising, and for their fantastic facilities. They are keen for the football to follow suit. They were frustrated to lose last year’s Intermediate Championship to Foreglen. The goal this year will have been to maintain their place in Division 1A. Emmett McKeever was the man in management. Which will make it awkward for him when Claudy meet Dungiven in the group stages of the championship.
