In today’s Gaelic Life, Cavan attacker Dara McVeety admits that the Breffni men are feeling pressure having yet to win a game in division one of the National Football League.
Cavan were unable to play in last weekend’s round three as Tyrone’s county ground Healy Park was deemed unplayable.
As a result, Mattie McGleenan’s Cavan side have had an extra week to contemplate their future in division one.
“We knew that there was going to be pressure. We know that we have to get points. There is pressure there. We know we have to get a win.”
In the piece McVeety admits that both he and Cavan haven’t been at their best, but says that they can improve ahead of this weekend’s derby clash with Donegal.
