Crossmaglen have returned to the pinnacle of Armagh club football beating league winners, Ballymacnab in a high scoring encounter at the Athletic Grounds. 

Cross had to come from behind after Jack Grugan’s 7th minute goal sent his side towards an early seven point lead.

Rian O’Neill and Jack Grugan traded scores before the half as Ballymacnab lead by three at the break on a scoreline of 1-11 to 0-11.

The men in black and amber however, outscored their opponent’s 0-13 to 0-4 in the second half with Rian O’Neill firing over six points before Johnny McKeever kicked the champions elect into a lead they would never lose.
