TYRONE have made their enforced change ahead of Saturday’s visit of Armagh to O’Neill’s Healy Park on Sunday (7pm).
The suspended Frank Burns will miss out and his place will go to Niall Sludden who makes his first start since the league game with Galway.
Cathal McShane remains absent due to injury while Cormac Munroe, Liam Rafferty, Peter Og Macartan and Benny Gallen have also stepped away from the squad in recent weeks.
The Red Hands lost their opening match in Galway, a game they chased after Frank Burns was sent off in the first half.
It was point for point for much of the contest in Salthill but Tyrone never looking like grabbing the goal needed to flip the game on its head.
Armagh were winners over Westmeath in their first game and it took a late Conor Turbitt goal to save their bacon in front of bumper attendance in the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds.
Tyrone’s final group game is a neutral clash with Westmeath on the weekend of June 17/18.
Tyrone: Niall Morgan; Michael McKernan, Ronan McNamee, Paudie Hampsey; Cormac Quinn, Michael O’Neill, Peter Harte; Brian Kennedy, Conn Kilpatrick; Conor Meyler, Joe Oguz, Niall Sludden; Darren McCurry, Mattie Donnelly, Darragh Canavan
Subs: Lorcan Quinn, Ruairi Canavan, Aidan Clarke, Niall Devlin, Richie Donnelly, Niall Kelly, Nathan McCarron, Kieran McGeary, Michael McGleenan, Sean O’Donnell, Conor Shields
