Armagh star Rian O’Neill cleared to play Donegal

ARMAGH have successfully appealed a proposed one-game suspension handed out to Rian O’Neill, and the star forward will now to be able to line out in their Ulster Championship opener against Donegal on April 24.

O’Neill had been cited following a post-match brawl at the end of last month’s league game against Donegal in Letterkenny.

However, it has been reported that the Orchard County have successfully appealed his proposed suspension, in a huge boost to their Ulster Championship hopes.

Aidan Nugent, Ciaran Mackin and Stefan Campbell were also hit with one-match bans and will be waiting anxiously to find out if they’re also been exonerated ahead of their provincial opener.
