FORMER Meath coach Colm Nally has been appointed manager of Armagh club Silverbridge for the upcoming season.
Nally worked alongside Andy McEntee in the Royal County and helped Meath reach back-to-back Leinster finals, only to lose to Dublin twice in 2019 and 2020.
The Louth native joined Cooley Kickhams midway through this season and guided them to their first Intermediate Championship title in 32 years.
Cooley Kickhams had been relegated from Division One football before Nally was appointed manager and dramatically turned their fortunes around.
Nally is a highly rated, popular coach and takes over a Silverbridge side that will compete in Division 1B in 2023.
The ‘Bridge battled against Crossmaglen in the opening of the Armagh championship and despite a brilliant display, lost out by just four-points in the end.
