Team news:

Ballycastle have suffered some bad losses for this year’s campaign. Their losses to travel continued as Shane McCarry has joined one of the many players who have went to Australia. In other team news, KB McShane is out with a back injury that looks like it will be a long-term problem. While he is unable to play, he is going to help the management team as a selector.

Sean Brogan is not going to be available as he suffered a serious knee injury over the winter. Since the return to action, Ballycastle lost Cormac Donnelly as he broke his hand during their Reserve championship win over Rossa. Conor McCurdy broke his collarbone playing in the football championship. Ciaran McKeague has gone to England as part of work commitments and is unavailable. However, there is some other good news. Neal McAuley has returned to training after missing 2019 due to injury. James McShane has also returned to action after missing a couple of seasons. Cahal Connor took a year out last year, but has returned. They have welcomed back Ryan McCook and Sean McCleave. The management told Gaelic Life that they have lots of minors that they would like to bring into the squad, but their schedule is hectic so they are focusing on their own level.
