THERE will be a stronger look to Dee McConville’s Antrim ladies football panel for the season ahead after the news that some players have joined the team.
Following last season when the Saffron ladies made some great progress and reached the All-Ireland Junior semi-final, a few girls have been lured into the fold.
McConville said this week: “I’d like to think that we are a bit stronger this year.
“We are hoping to get a few challenge games squeezed in in February but it is all dependent on lockdown.”
At the moment, the restrictions have limited preparations.
However, McConville confirmed that among those who have joined the panel are Moneyglass’s Orlaith Prenter, and Rebecca Bradley. St Paul’s Caitlin McGuinness is another exciting addition. They will join up with a team that includes stars like Lara Dahunsi.
