Ulster teams head into business end of league campaigns

By Michael McMullan

ANTRIM will take on Offaly this weekend in the relegation play-off  to see who makes the drop to Division 2A.

Both teams were on the wrong end of hammerings at the hands of Tipperary and Limerick at the weekend and will have to pick themselves up for one shot at survival.

Down could be going in the other direction after their 1-19 to 0-20 win over Kerry booked a place in the Division 2A final where they will play the winners of Kerry and Westmeath who meet in this weekend’s semi-final.

Derry have been rewarded with their 100 per cent record with a place in the final where they will face Donegal or Sligo who meet in this weekend’s Division 2B semi-final.

Tyrone topped Division 3A and await the winners of the semi-final between Armagh and Roscommon.

Leitrim and Longford meet in this weekend’s Division 3B semi-final, with the winners set to take on Fermanagh in the final.
