ANTRIM are set to welcome back a number of experienced players as they attempt to secure promotion from Division Four in the coming weeks.
Gaelic Life can reveal that Mark Sweeney, who plays his football with St Jude’s in Dublin, has returned to the panel, as has Ryan Murray who has returned from Dubai.
Highly-rated defender Paddy McCormick is also back involved having previously opted to miss this season in order to study in Galway.
There is also welcome news as former Saffron captain Kevin O’Boyle returns to the fray after two injury-ravaged seasons.
Antrim are currently second in Division Three after five games and a point behind leaders Limerick.
They finish out their campaign with a match in Wicklow on Saturday, October 17 with Waterford visiting Portglenone a week later. Their Ulster campaign is due to start on November 7 when they face the winners of Monaghan and Cavan.
